BDS Alumni Kickabout

BDS alumni from various graduating batches gathered on the school field for a friendly football kickabout session. The event was a great success, providing an opportunity for former students to reconnect, interact and reminisce about their school days. Between matches and over refreshments, participants enjoyed getting to know alumni from different batches and strengthening their ties with the BDS community. We look forward to organising more such sessions in the future.

BDS 35th Anniversary Alumni Reunion 2015

Our BDS Alumni Reunion in commemoration of BDS 35th Anniversary was held on the 31 October 2015 at the old BDS site (current Haig Girls’ School holding site). We were very fortunate to have two of our former school leaders to be with us for the event, Ms Koh Sauk Keow (ex-Principal) and Mr Lee Kok Hong (ex-VP). The event kicked off with the flag raising ceremony in which the National anthem and the school song were played. This evoked fond memories for the Alumni as they recalled the daily routine in BDS years ago. Our then-Principal, Ms Fun shared the school's progress over the years and its plans for the future. This was followed by a short BDS forum where the panel shared fond memories of their time in BDS and how they had gained so much form their experiences. The whole audience then had a group wefie before they proceeded to take pictures at various places in the school in the ‘Walk down Memory Lane’ activity. From the happy faces and the joyful interactions among the Alumni, the former teachers and our staff, the event was meaningful and triggered a lot of nostalgic moments. Many were already looking forward to future Alumni events.
