The Art, Music, Design and Technology, and Nutrition and Food Science units are the four units that make up the Craft & Technology Department.

Design And Technology
3D Pen Printing Workshop (Collaboration with ALP Team)
Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills: By overcoming challenges in 3D pen printing, students will learn to think creatively and find solutions.
Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation: 3D pen printing encourages students to explore new ideas and take risks in their design process.

Art And Design
BDS Art and Design curriculum aims to provide every student with the opportunity to develop a keen perception in observing and analysing the world around them, cultivating an inquiring mind and a spirit of experimentation through meaningful art-making experiences, while nurturing an informed appreciation of art and design as a way of seeing, thinking and expressing.
Music
In the BDS music programme, students listen to, compose, and perform music across diverse styles and traditions. Combining critical analysis with aurally based practice, they acquire musical knowledge to deeply understand music and musicians.
Design & Technology
BDS D&T curriculum aims to provide every student with the opportunity to explore and deepen their enthusiasm for design thinking and hands-on making through creative projects and real-world problem solving, while developing values, craftsmanship and innovative thinking relevant to Design and Technology as a way of imagining and doing.
FCE & NFS
Bedok South Secondary(BDS) Food and Consumer Education (FCE) and Nutrition and Food Science(NFS) curriculum aims to provide every student with the opportunity to explore and deepen their understanding of food, nutrition and consumer literacy through hands-on, project-based learning, while developing critical thinking, informed decision-making and a sense of responsibility towards their own well-being and that of the community — as a way of living and choosing wisely.
